This paper introduces design and development of Tobacco Germplasm Resources Information System based on ASP.NET technology as exploitative terrace, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as database, Browser/Server as Web mode for improvement of collection, arrangement, evaluation and utilization of Chinese tobacco germplasm resources, and promotion of resources information exchanges and resources sharing. This system provides the way to browse, search and get statistics of tobacco germplasm resources data as well as dynamic management. It enables sufficient and effective utilization of present germplasm resources in agricultural scientific researches and production practices by network sharing of tobacco germplasm data of identity, conservation, evaluation and images.
