Advance in Effect of Selenium on the Ingredients in Tobacco Leaf and the Nocuous Components in Smoke
Selenium is considered as a required microelement for tobacco growth with very important physiological activities, and can be accumulated by tobacco leaves. The effects of selenium on ingredients in tobacco leaves, selenium content in tobacco leaves, harmful components in smoke, and the safety of selenium in cigarette, were reviewed in this paper.
